Project Manager

Summary

Coordinate people and processes to ensure projects are delivered on time, through to completion, with the desired results. Focusing largely on the delivery of new projects, you will be responsible for working with large public and private companies to deliver complex projects with multiple work strands and stakeholders. Accountable for the process from project commencement, through the stage-gates, to delivery of the finished product. You will be the ‘go to’ person for everything involved in the projects management and timeline. UK based with the possibility of limited travel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Development of detailed plans, including project scopes and objectives.
  • Manage all timelines, ensuring the allocation of appropriate resources to meet commitments.
  • Identify and work directly with multiple stakeholders within our customers business, our suppliers, and all internal departments. Build and manage relationships.
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress, including feedback to relevant parties on a regular basis, as required, including escalation to management as needed.
  • Perform risk management to minimize possible points of failure.
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in scope, schedule, and costs/margins.
  • Work closely with the R&D department to drive new products to commercialization and bulk order programmes.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Qualifications, Education, Skills and Competencies

  • Graduate or relevant professional business qualification preferable.
  • Computer Literate, good Excel ability is essential.
  • Proven track record of project management.
  • Self-motivated, ambitious, driven, and confident individual.
  • Takes responsibility for own actions.
  • Committed to delivering high quality results to both customers and colleagues. Comfortable at mid-senior level interaction.
  • Ability to identify problems and co-operate with others when solving them.

This is a Permanent position and salary will be awarded dependent on experience.
